This page explains how to delete your Stickies Pro account (published by Desktop Sticky Notes, Bengaluru, India), which data is deleted, and which data is kept. It applies to the Stickies Pro Android app, the Windows app and this website.
1. Delete your account in the Android app
- Open Stickies Pro and make sure you are signed in.
- Tap your profile picture at the top right to open Your space.
- Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete account.
- Type your account email and the word DELETE, then tap Delete permanently.
Deletion happens straight away. You are signed out and the app keeps working with the notes stored on your phone.
2. Delete your account in the Windows app
- Open the Stickies Pro Home window and open your profile from the top right.
- Choose Delete my account….
- Type your account email and DELETE, then choose Permanently delete.
3. Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have the app installed, email stickiespro26@gmail.com from the email address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my Stickies Pro account". To protect your account we only act on requests sent from that address. We will confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days.
4. What is deleted
- Your Stickies Pro sign-in account (name, email address and profile picture received from Google).
- All notes, folders and settings synced to our cloud.
- Every public share link you created.
- Your phone's notification registration and any notifications waiting to be sent.
Deleted cloud data is removed from our live systems straight away and cannot be restored to your account.
5. What is kept
- Notes stored on your devices. They stay on your phone or PC so you do not lose your work. Uninstall the app or clear its storage to remove them.
- Backup files you exported yourself. We cannot see or delete these.
- Purchase records. If you bought Stickies Pro, the record of that payment (amount, date and order reference) is kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require. It is not used for anything else.
- Your Google account. Deleting Stickies Pro does not delete or change your Google account.
6. Signing in again later
You can sign in again at any time. This creates a brand-new, empty Stickies Pro account; your deleted cloud notes will not come back. You may choose to sync the notes still on your device into the new account.
