1. The short version
Your notes live on your computer. If you never sign in, nothing you write ever leaves your PC. If you choose to sign in with Google, your notes sync between your own devices through our secure cloud — and that is the only time your note content travels.
2. What we collect
- Notes (local only): stored in the app's data folder on your computer. We cannot see them.
- Account (optional): if you sign in, we receive your name, email address and profile photo from Google, used only to identify your sync account.
- Synced notes (optional): when sync is on, an encrypted connection carries your notes to our cloud so your other devices can download them. Each user's notes are accessible only to that user.
- AI action items (optional): when you press the ⚡ button, the selected text is sent to our AI provider solely to generate the list you asked for, and is not used to train models.
3. What we never do
- We never sell, rent or share your personal data with advertisers.
- We never read your notes for advertising or profiling.
- We never show ads inside the app.
4. How your data is protected
Sign-in happens in your real browser through Google's own account screen; the app never sees your Google password. Sync uses encrypted connections, and access to stored data is restricted so each account can only reach its own notes.
5. Your choices
You can use the app entirely offline with no account. You can sign out at any time, which stops sync and removes the sign-in token from the device. Uninstalling the app keeps your local notes folder so you never lose them by accident. To delete your synced data or account, email us and we will remove it.
6. Children
Stickies Pro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, announce them in the app.
